I don't know why anyone would spend that much time and money on changing over to a vent which most always leaks and is drafty. I'ld use newer cab as-is! I'ld use new cab doors to get better vent wind

I think i would dump all the body vents, install AC and convert the newer doors to ventless. If I was going to hack on the body. I'd make an extended cab for a little more leg and head room. New Mexi

I have both vents on my '50 with new seals and neither leaks. They really move some air in the summer and look cool as well. Also my turn down handle latches work fine if everything is up to snuff. W

My 50 has severe body damage on the outside (side) cowl vent. Then to make matters worse, someone tried to bang out the damage by tin snipping a wide gash in the inside cowl vent panel! How nice for
