Okay Group, Another question for ya'll. On the 1958 GMC cabs was there a brace that ran underneath the step front to rear. If so, what shape is it and does it run the full length of the step or not.

Hi Jim, All of my TF trucks have a "C" channel welded to the bottom of the Step. It serves two purposes, one to stiffen the step and the other to attach the accessory Outside Running Board. Here are

Hey Jim, You need those too? I -think- that mine are good. I was debating whether to send them to scrap or cut/drill 'em out. In any case, on the Chevrolets they didn't quite run from front to back.
