To put the engine at TDC, put the crank shaft timing mark at TDC on the scale. At TDC the #1 piston should be all the way up in the bore at the same time the timing mark on the crank shaft at TDC. At

A word about POR-15. I coated the stripped down frame on a 79 Jeep CJ-5 with the stuff (1 coat). I put many rough miles on it through the Arizona dessert (off road of course) and it held up very well
