Well, my old radiator finally went and rather than repair it, I'm thinking I'd like to get an aluminum one for my trusty '49 with 350 small block. I might go with polished if it's not too much more.

Just wanted to thank everyone for their words of encouragement and great advice. I ended up ordering an aluminum one from a company called PRC in Indiana (thanks, Steve!). Should be here in 3-4 weeks
