- I think some recent 4/4s ('80s?) had an aluminum casting (complete with "Morgan" cast into it) on top of the carb or fuel injection air intake and connecting to an air hose from a remote air filter.

- That's not totally correct Will. My 65 4/4 has an air filter on it. First off, if you really want an airfilter the quickest and easiest is to grap a pair of your wifes hose that she is throwing out.

- Dave, You might also want to try putting some stocking over the throat. The next option might be to try and find an extra 1/2 of a hood for the side of the car your carbs are on. Preferably a Super S
