- 4111 is the number of teeth on the ring and pinion. 41/11 = 3.727 The other four digit numbers are probably the body assembly number, which is different from the chassis number. The engine number is

- I've got the rear axle out of my '65 +4, the 4111 tag means that the ring gear has 41 teeth and the pinion has 11 which is a 3.73 to 1 ratio, typical for +4s (mine has the same tag). My entire rear
