I have recently acquired a +4 manufactured around 1954, identifiable as being 1953 - 1956 by its two spare tyres. However the chassis number is long since illegible but I have the following numbers.

The numbers stamped on the bonnet hinge flange are from the original engine number. The current engine number (TS31031E) is a '58 Triumph TR-3A engine number. If had been made for the Morgan is woul

In digging a little further into TR engine numbers I find that your bonnet number should correspond to the year 1954 as '54 Trumph engine numbers run from TS303 - TS5192. Art Hart '64 +4 -- Vintage

TS31031E is not the original engine. Original Triumph engines has an "ME" 3886 (stamped into the bonnet and tool tray) IS the original engine number (TS 3886 ME)and corresponds to chassis 3446 (gerab
