The dates in the previous posting are incorrect - it should be 1994, 1995 and 1996. I should add that the car is extremely tractable, entirely road legal (MOT, Tax etc.) and delightful as a road car.

The bad news is - yes. The better news is that it is possible to modify the sub frame & fixing bolts (replacing with studs/fixed nuts?) so that you will not have to do so in the future. I cannot give

It didn't go there. It is only entered in the GT Global Endurance Challenge. Charles plans to go to Le Mans next year (if he gets the funds from Peter!) - but I'll be surprised if he qualifies. -- Ma

Apart from the factory no-one knows for sure. The Rover (ex Buick) V8 is *lot* cheaper than the BMW and unless Rover switch I doubt Morgan will. On the other hand the Range Rover now has the BMW dies

Can't say that the factory has done away with the system - but a lot of other people have. Simply disconnect and blank off at engine. Fit a grease nipple to the top and use that every 5K miles or so.

My source at the factory indicates that BMW looked at putting their V8 in the Range Rover but it was twice the price and would have needed retooling for much of the panelwork so any change is unlikel
