- In all the cars I've seen, they're protected. If you're using a polaris CVT, they make a nice plastic cover. Then all you have to do is line the edges (where the belt is) with the steel and you're do

- If you go to this link, you should be able to see the guard we made from .125 plate and a stainless steel salad bowl. The plate was painted black in contrast with the green of the frame and the stain
