I would say that yes the governor is interfering with your maximum rpm, but there is nothing you can do about that. The governor is not really what I would call a governor, I would instead use the t

Ummm...you checked the rpm of the motor and set the governor under NO load right? Clean crankshaft rpm of the motor = 3600 rpm? If that's the case, when you put a load on the motor, the mechanical go
