Sounds like a good idea but all electric driven components have to be completly draine dof energy before the start of the race, ie your battery is going to have to be dead when you start the race. So

I believe that you are interpreting the rules wrong. Refer to rule 21.4.17 and 21.4.19. The rules only state that energy storage must start at zero energy if they are providing propulsion. Electric
