- On that note, is there a way of identifying the head while it's installed? My engine plate is still there, and matches, at least year-wise, my '73 B according to Clausager. Although the "101" is not

- Remove the valve cover ... you will find the casting date on the top of the cylinder head ... while this doesn't positively identify the head, it will give you a very good idea. Safety Fast! ... larr
