Does anyone have an idea why the front brakes squeal just as coming to a complete stop with light pressure applied? No noise with heavy pressure. This only started since I replaced the pads prox. 5,0

You might try getting your discs turned to knock off the slight waviness. But it's usually caused by dust and the demise of asbestos brake pads. They make some blue goo that is anti-squeal that is sm

Try this... it's worked for me in the past, and my neighbor now thinks I'm brilliant, 'cause I saved him a few bucks. Drive in reverse and hit the brakes fairly hard a few times... then drive away. T

You can also put a layer of 10 mil PVC plumber's tape on the back of the pads, or there is an adhesive backed plastic specifically for the purpose os unsquealing the brakes. Regards, Dave Ambrose
