- Hi All, Sorry to bomb the list with a non-MG question, but my old pontoon boat needs some spucing up. I would like to paint its aluminum side panels. I was thinking of using some steel wool and paint

- If you are NOT going to bare aluminum, and the paint quality of the surface is reasonable and this is for a quick spruce-up I would just spray over the old finish that has been prepared down to say 3

- I've had great luck with Rustoleum's Aluminum Primer. I've even topcoated it with Cabot's heavy bodied oil stains and it's held up for years. Bud Krueger 52TD 77MGB
