- Hi All, I'm in process of ressurecting my factory V-8 which has been setting for a few years (having a family can slow down the hobby a little apparently). I have the fuel system pretty well flushed

- You should be able to see if there is a spark coming from the coil by having someone crank the engine while you watch the points. If there is a spark there, then your coil is at leas putting somethin
