- Bellow is the picture of the badge on my 64 MGB. Looking closely, you will see that there is a word written on the top of the MG octagon. Unfortunately the start and the end of that word are broken

- The word is "Magnette". Apparently some DPO stole your MG badge off of a sedan, breaking it in the process. Too bad, since I'm sure the Magnette script version is far rarer than the plain MG version.
