Is there another means of identifying the correct chassis number of 67-72 MGB/MGBGT/MGC/MGCGT if the VIN plate is missing from the engine compartment and/or near side B post or is otherwise altered?

Are you sure that it is a C Chassis? There really are a lot of differences between a C Chassis and B Chassis. The Torsion Bars are a dead give away, as well as the lack of front coil springs. If it r
