Just so you know...these sound like the folks who sell conversion kits to put Nisson boxes into the B and Midgets, the kit is close to $500, then you must supply the trans. Not a bad idea necessarily

I just talked to the people on the MGB - Datsun tranny swap, they are not the ones who do the sprite conversion. Supposedly that is somebody named Smitty. Anybody know more about the Sprite conversio

And thats not including the transmission. You have to get that yourself. That is just for the kit. They said a Z tranny can be had for under $200.

Warning! THey ARE NOT the same trans. The Z tranny has stronger parts than the truck trannys do, and if you value longevity use the Z trans by all means. Lots of Z owners have been screwed over big t
