They shouldn't be that stiff, so investigation is worthwhile. It is quite a fiddle to get the regulator out but you may not have to. Is the glass stiff in the runners or is it the mechanism itself i.

To get at the windows is pretty easy. Just remove the door trim and peal away the plastic sheet that is glued to the inside of the door. Spray the window componants with PB Blaster and work the windo

I bought the chrome replacement handles, They are smaller than the opening in my new door panels, Diameter wise. I put the originals in. Carl E.
