- Ok, I've got an idea. Has anybody ever tried to fit the steel 'springs' that support the bottoms of most new seats to an MGB seat? I believe that they would be permanent and after replacing the seat

- This is a one-person job, provided you can find a way to hold the seat bottom frame securely. The best way is in a vise but I have also seen it done clamped to one of those "Work-Mate" tables. Then
