Wow! I hate to admit it, but my MG is like a different car with the insulation in place. Cruising down the road at 35 mph, I cannot hear the engine. Same thing at 55. Big difference for a little $. T

...did the same thing... ha ha ... my '73BGT has the original rubber mats still snapped down in place... then a layer of indoor/outdoor short tight loop foam backed berber carpet cut like floor mats

My next post was going to be how I threw away those cork valve cover gaskets and started using RTV Blue to make my own gasket. I always used the stuff to 'glue' the gasket in place, but when you use
