A clockwise twist (not related to John Twist) to line up the three little pegs (not related to the Three Little Pigs) is all it takes. Easier to do by grasping the unit from behind the dash. Woo! Duk

As someone mentioned earlier, a simple turn of the speedo from behind the fascia will release it. Remember to rotate the trim ring and glass off first, though, before trying to pull it through. Comm

Just turn it by grabing the back side of it. The round hole that it fits into has two notches cut in it which correspond to two posts on the side of the speedo. Line them up and push it out. Chris Re
