I am starting the slow process of installing signals in my TD. Just where on the inside bulkhead does the flasher unit get mounted? I have read that it should be inside the car not under the bonnet.

Pat, That's not a silly question. If you have a TD you need to loosen the screw on top of the unit. That screw holds a 'pinch block' which should allow you to gently pry off the chrome rim. They fit

Having traversed another 500 miles it was time to grease the TD. I took care of all the fittings from the suspension to prop shaft to water pump etc. But I found I do not have the fitting on my pedal

Blair. There is no remnant of a fitting there. It looks as if it was just soldered over. I can see no fitting and no grease..... Help/ Steve
