- Steel braided cables are nice b/c they don't expand under pressure like rubber ones do, giving you a firmer brake pedal. The main disadvantage (besides price) that I know of is they are more prone to

- If it is indeed zero oil pressure DON'T KEEP DRIVING THE CAR!!! It could be a faulty pressure gauge. On my nicer Volvo, I have both a pressure gauge and light.... that are independent of each other.
