The best ones are the last, they had 1275cc engines and Riley instrument panles. This 1300 Mk2 engine produced 70bhp, could BEAT a MGB and Midget to 60mph, ( rather embarrassing for MG...........) an

My pennies worth...... In the UK BMC cars were always too cool. It was, ( and still is ) common to go 'UP' one thermostat in the spec. IE virtually all BMC used 82 ( 180 in American,) so we fit 88, (
