- According to my manual......The 1500 Midget has a 'Triumph' engine and ( Marina) gearbox. This gearbox uses 1.75 pints ( UK pints) of EP 90 gear oil. The earlier BMC gearbox fitted to the 'A' series

- This has crossed my mind a few times as well. If a suitable system was developed it would be adaptable for all the 'B' series engines, not just MG. Already ROVER use a 'Single-Point' injection system

- The 'gaskets' are infact ten-thou shims, often placed there to make up for any head skimming that may have been done. The .010" lifts the whole set of rockers, and is supposed to put the rocker-arms
