- New Jersey's the same. I believe you have to pay a fee every year for the plate though. Another thing, if you ever have been charged with DWI or other major offense, they will not let you have one. <

- In NJ at least, Historic Plates only allow you to drive the car to and from parades, to and from educational displays, etc. In other words, NO SUNDAY DRIVES!
