I hate to get started on this "what weight oil to use in the gearbox" controversy, but my owners manual (73 MGB with OD) says to use 20W50. Can anyone really, truely, unequivically, get to to bottom

In regard to the tube shock conversion for MGB's they seem to work great. I've had them on my '73B since 1984. The only safety problem I know about is that the front brake hose rubs against the shock
