Looks like we got lucky. They're cast iron not aluminum. They were too heavy for aluminum, painted black and the threads looked like cast iron so I tried the magnet test and sure enough they're iron.

Well, that was fast. There is only one left and it has a missing bolt. The bolt appears to be 1/2" Whitworth 12tpi. It will have to be tapped to 9/16" unless you can find a Whitworth bolt someplace.
