- Vince & Spencer, Thanks for all your input. I will contact Dan. My B has A/C which runs a short belt to the alt so its a tight fit for a domestic (GM) alternator but what the hey I built a whole car

- Hi Steve, My '79B (puchased recently) has A/C installed. I believe it was a BL supplied dealer installed option. There IS room for it. The compressor goes where the alternator originally mounts and t
