If I remember correctly, the seat-belt retractors in my '78 MGB are also extremely sensitive and latch at the slightest pull. That may just be part of the design or due to age? I don't know. Donny V

I can't find Barney's MGA with an Attitude website, but I think something similar could probably be fabricated to mount to the MGB bumper mounts? I guess I'll actually have to go out and crawl under

Yes, the Clausager book does state they are Dark Metallic Gray, but there's nothing in the paint codes. I'll keep looking... donny v
