Folks, my PO purchased an adaptor from Moss in 1998....I'm not sure who was making them for Moss at that time, maybe Marino, maybe Grunau. Of course he didn't put the gasket on the filter that was on

I cross-listing my GFE148 which came with my adapter to a WIX 51374 which was the same as the Fram PH3600 that was used on my MG A. Napa Gold 1374 is another cross listing. Check out Barney's A site

Hold on, folks. Note that Terry's original posting referred to a TF. The Moss adapter for TD-TF is their 235-865. The adapter for an MGA is their 235-855. Moss sells the same spin-on filters for each

To clarify, I have been using the WIX 51374 on A, B and the TD, as I said, without a problem. Barney's site has a link to an area that shows problems the threads so the filter might not tighting down

Thanks to all who replied to my question...I think I have it now. The real problem here is that the PO did not put any seal at all on the Puralotor filter that was on the engine when I bought it. The
