- If you're going to coat the manifold, the color should be whatever you prefer, since they were originally bare metal and it will no longer be stock anyway. Bob

- In reference to Sherrell's book, page 247, he says, "The four branch exhaust manifold, some say was originally aluminum sprayed (white), but I believe it was plain cast iron." Bob

- If you are going for originality, you will need to aluminize the manifold. This is according to Chip Old in the T Series Handbook. If you are not concerned with originality, coat the manifold with w
