While attaching the right front shock this evening I pulled too hard on the wrench and stripped the captive threads which hold the shock in place. What's the solution....retreading in a larger size?

Thank you all for the advise regarding the stripped shock mount thread. I took the easy way out and retreated the mount to 7/16-20 and drilled the shock to accept the 7/16" bolt. The local shops only
