My notes from Oct. '96 say the package was marked "MG 35 ft/lbs". I phoned Mike to verify that this was the intended torque for the rods. Seemed to me like a rather informal way to give this info. I

The ARP2000 cap screws supplied in the Phoenix connecting rods are made on special order for Phoenix. The correct stretch, according to ARP, is 0.004+-0.0002in. These rods are for a P-type, and were

My P type rods came from Phoenix via Mike Allison also. If is is later recommended to retorque using a stretch gauge or I become very cautious, do you know if these cap screws are reusable i.e.: be

The advice from ARP is that the fasteners may be reused so long as they aren't permanently stretched, i. e.,plastically deformed, AT ALL. I'm curious to know what was recommended to you? either by P
