You should have six holes in each piece of metal covered wood. The two fixing holes should be about 5" and 24" from the front. The first hole (approx 5" from the front) should line up with a hole in

One more originality note on the bonnet board fasteners... on two *original* PBs I've disassembled, the 2 bolts per side were slotted round head, 1/4" course W thread - NOT BSF. Under the heads were
