Hiro, I have used the modern Midget diff assembly for many years on a Wolseley Hornet Special, basically the the same rear axle as the MGs. You need to weld up the holes to mount the diff & then redr

I just used a complete MG Midget wire-wheel axle, but with new mounts welded on to fit the spring spacing. Track was 2 inches wider than the original (MGPB?) axle but it gave me excellent 7x1.75 inch
