According to my recollections, when we ran the two way averages in the early morning, the speeds were generally higher than the qualifying speeds. I remember one in particular...Bob Jonecke's (sp) D

I think you're correct. Now that I thought about it some I remember when starting people from the 9 mile that they were now running downhill because the morning speeds were consistently faster. Old
