Personally I would put a suspension in your car. If you ever want to test that thing on some concrete back home you'll be mighty glad you did. Don't need a lot of travel, maybe 2" total. Solid axle

Only sprung wheels require shocks. Tripod or independent A-arm suspensions are not allowed as they are not load bearing as as Tubular axles. They tend to fold under if side loaded. Glen -- Original

I think that "A" frame refers to a spooky light weight front end I saw. Imaging an A frame (only one) with a spindle welded on where the ball joint should be and welding the inner pivot to the frame
