- awhile back there was a pot not to put a flathead block on a engine stand tht bolts to the bellhousing. Does that apply to the late 49-53 blocks also, i have a 49 block on my stand now? Also have lot

- My understanding was he meant an early ('32-'48) block. I had my Packard block on the engine stand for a while. It has a cast on bellhousing. It never fell off. I also have an early ('51) Chrysler, l
