BOTH Bilbows welded my Lindwood! I got mixed up, Pat was the original builder of the Lyndwood rails. Back in 1990 I took it back to the factory to have some steering box mounts welded on by Pats son

Bruce, One more bit of Lyndwood history. Lyndwood is the section of Wilkes-Barre, Pa. where the chassis were built. Pat Bilbow put out a real nice catalog in the early 1960's (my car is in it) with

Welding thin- wall tubing with a stick welder is very difficult. For stuff over 0.090" wall, it's OK if you are welding 1010/1020 mild steel but don't use a stick welder on 4130N chrome moly. The loc
