- Hi all, Just got a call from my partner in Salem. The 10 year old crank in the modified has cracks in the front throw and the rear flange. Looks like we need a new one. We have been running stock 427

- Jim, The crank your looking for has 6223 number on it. It comes out of 366 truck, 396 truck & car, 402 truck & car, 427 truck & car. Any other number will be a cast crank. Doug

- Thanks a lot, especially for the forging numbers. I am the fabricator/engineer on our team and I don't always know the engine specifics. Jim in Palmdale (who can always learn) in like cranks.
