- Chevy or not, I still have a roadster to build. Has anybody every machined (surface ground) the top off of a stock cast iron manifold until all of the runners were opened in order to weld on a plate

- Seems to me the easiest route to take would be to make a plate to match the carb flanges on the 3 deuce manifold that was large enough for the blower to sit on. May not be perfect as trying to mill a

- Sound advise Bill, some years ago, I spent waaaaayy too much time grinding down an intake manifold with a body grinder and body files, in my case it was to build a plate for multiple carbs. It worked

- if you have access to the machine shop , I would go ahead and weld up a manifold . A blower manifold is about the easiest to build .The runners are short so there is less area to mess up . It is what
