I believe that Perris & Eaton's roaster went 296 MPH one-way and holds the B/BFR @ 260.299 MPH. As I remember, they had a much higher top speed average, but didn't get it in the right mile. Leggit &

I think Roger Lessman (sp?) had a ground effects liner back in the mid 80s. If I rremember right, he got out of shape and went end over end. Maybe some one else has a better memory or more info. I r
