I was reading the rule book(SCTA) yesterday to see which car classes allowed front wheel drive(FWD) and my takeaway was virtually all of them including Mod Roadster,Roadster,Comp Cp,Alt C and Gas Cp.

This may not help much since I'm running a FWD Honda and most folks are RWD but I figure about a 10% drivetrain loss on the dyno (rubber on steel) and maybe 15% on the Maxton concrete. This lines up

My experience with digital gages has not been good. I had some Cyberdyne gages on the Honda that went "belly up" after about 2-3 hrs running time. Apparently the vibration killed the sending units. N

There's a guy in Wisc. who sells used racing tires very cheap($30-$50) and they are speed rated.Just got a pair for the Honda for $85 and they have plenty of rubber left.John Burget 414-740-0180. Chu

I don' know about LSR tires,but the reason road racers shave tires is to reduce tread "squirm" and increase contact patch. The deeper the tread the more it moves around which generates heat and also

I'll second Kieth's reco.We run a MSD 6AL on the Honda at 8700 RPM and it never has any ignition problems.I took this one off my old Chevy a number of years ago to use on the Honda so it's at least 8

Larry,thanks for your efforts on this subject.According to the Honda sales info '90 CRX has a Cd of .30.I calculate the frontal area at 16 sq. ft. Car runs 131 MPH at Maxton in 4th gear with 138-140

I may be off base,but as someone who just set two records in the "correct" classes(H/GT,H/MS) and broke two records in "move-up" classes(E/GT,F/MS) I'm of the opinion that allowing the option to run
