Otto, Earl Wooden did a lot of research on racing tire recommended pressures. I didn't see your car, so I don't know what tires you are using. Goodyear land speed tires all sizes are 70# min. 80# max

Skip, If you say 300.001mph or higher to Goodyear they will not talk to you, period. If you figure a 10 % safety factor, shave them, then you are at 330mph. After that you are in no-mans land I guess

Ed, This just happened last week. Put our E motor on the dyno. Its 258 inch sb chevy. 2.7 stroke 3.905 bore. Have run it for the last 9 years. Turns 9k and the bottom end looks like new every time. N
