Guy I sold my record holding 2 liter 907 to, brought it back today with big hurts and left it. It ran 141 in my roadster and 142 out the back door. Anybody around my location (San Francisco Bay Area)

I remember seeing a 280ZX record holding car at the salt that to get enough fuel in it without spending lots of money, had 2 stock electronic injection systems installed. I guess there was more to it

I remember he ran a 55 Ford at the salt and did real well with the Y block. I believe he also was top Eliminator at the national drags in '58 with 430 Merc power. Or engine builder, one or the other.

Finally made a pull with my 3 liter 84 Nissan V6. With 32 degrees advance and stock cams and hydraulics but 12.5 CR Aries pistons and my homemade baby bug catcher injector it pulled 199.8 hp at 6000

Ran the V6 again this afternoon. Didn't really make any gains It seems to like 32 degrees total and falls off drastically at 6500. I guess thats about what you should expect for stock heads and cams

My 907 ran good. Ross 12.5 compression pistons, Crower cams. adjustable pulleys, half a set of Chrysler injectors, ports smoothed out a little. Ran 142 out the back o the 3 with 4.86 gears in the QC.

Yeah the Nissan and Toyota are the same. I guess the one piece main caps are what's happening now. For those who are not put off by rice burners Toyota has a very pretty little 4 valve 4 cam 2 liter
