I have no doubt that Kugal is and has been getting LOTS of HP from his SBC. And I also am in awe of NASCAR builders that go 200 with larger cars than I and smaller engines, and do it for 500 miles. B

I was just rereading my post and see I said $600 for a sleeve and valve grind. That also included honing all six cylinders +.005, maging the new crank and resizing the rods. Rich (not a big spender)

We have V4 and XF and XO if you want to ride the trailing edge of technology. Other wise its run what you brung. 4 cylinder guys probably hated V8s. Flathead guys hated Rocker 8s. And I still haven't
