- Easier and more economical to sleeve and pin all eight or even just a couple of cylinders. As far as the crank is concerned, you might offset grind it and chrome it back to -.20. Skip _______________

- I think of the crank as a long torsion bar as you suggest but with a difference, the more the crank twists, end to end, the farther the cam gets out of position and the farther the valve timing is of

- Thanks John, I think the strips on the center of the rotor lobe is Nylatron....Black.... The strips on the inside of the rotor are white....I assume Teflon. All of it seems to be melting. Skip ______

- I think that if the piston and rod weights are the same throughout the engine, balance would be good and performance might change about the amount that a cylinder a couple of percent low on compress
