- DMD has one nice potential solution to this cam lobe and follower pitting wear issue. A roller cam kit. Really expensive! I suppose a pint of EOS per oil change would be a lot cheaper :) Dave _______

- Thanks Mike. But even now there are some inconsistancies. I saw a recent chart of various oils and the amt of ZDDP in them. VR1, which I have been using, was listed at a little over 1200 ppm's. Close

- OK, I'll call when I get a chance. I'm skeptical, because everything I've heard/read says the API-SM spec requires the reduced Zn and P levels, and the case of VR1 I just bought definitely says "SM.
